  1. 1:15 Furthermore the Sabres remain the only NHL team yet to win a post-2009 playoff series, with a conference final appearance during the postseason of 2007.

  2. That whole franchise needs a rebrand.
Go to that crest like they have in that clip at 2:08..simple circle with crossed swords..drop the dumb cow!!
Nobody wants to play for a team with a cow in their logo.

Id recommend that whole place changes its name to Niagara Falls anyway…everyone loves Niagara Falls.

  3. I'm not sure we could call Dylan Cozens a waste. He is, however, probably going to be another player who becomes a superstar as soon as he leaves Buffalo.

  4. The Buffalo management didn't respect the rebuild. They didn't commit to it. They tried to rush it, and destroyed the franchise for the foreseeable future. If you're not prepared to go through the full process of a rebuild, do not go into a rebuild.

  5. It starts with the Pegulas. They would rather have yesmen and people that they can push around to mettle than let the hockey people do the hockey stuff. That's the reason why the Bills are better now. The Pegulas stayed away from the Bills team operations.

  6. 8:30 Dahlin is objectively far and away a better player than Svechnikov. Even if you base it purely off point totals, Dahlin was close to a point per a game and Svechnikov was closer to 0.5 points per a game. All this while Dahlin is a d-man on a far worse team.

  7. # The Buffalo Sabres have the longest active Play-Off drought at 14 seasons (2011- ) a league record.
    # The Florida Panthers have the longest Play-Off series win drought in league history at 24 seasons, lasting from 1997 to 2022.
    # The Toronto Maple Leafs have the longest Stanley Cup Finals drought in league history at 57 seasons (1967- ) a league record +
    # Leafs have the longest President's Trophy drought in league history at 61 seasons (1963- ) a league record.

  8. Adele's hit is now faded into memory, but the Sabres are still rolling in the deep basement (sorry couldn't help myself) of the NHL standings 😂😅 ripppppp

  9. NBA Sacramento Kings didn't go to the NBA postseason from 2007 to 2022 and broke the Buffalo Braves/San Diego & LA Clippers not appearing in the NBA postseason drought

  10. Did this guy really say svech is better than dahlin?! If dahlin leaves buffalo he will be the most wanted dman in the NHL. Put him with a partner that can help him and you got yourself probably the second best defenseman in the nhl behind Makar (ok maybe tied for second with quinn hughes, depending on who you ask).

  11. Id like to personally thank buffalo for making my joke of a team look like champions in comparison

  12. Unfair to Dahlin to compare to picks after him when he is a top d-man in the NHL while being in the dumpster fire that Buffalo is. The problem is organizational. How can you destroy so many big talents?

  13. Just an insane characterization of Dahlin. I wonder how he’d produce had he been drafted to Carolina or Vancouver?

  14. When the Sabres last made the playoffs, the Thrashers were a month away from moving. The Sabres have never made the playoffs in the Winnipeg Jets (2.0) existence

  15. "quite literally between a rock and a hard place"
In fact, the Sabres were figuratively between a rock and a hard place.
Good video. Good channel. Less-than-stellar vocabulary.

  16. As an Oilers fan. Who grew up during the late 90s and mid 2000s. I always remembered the Sabres being a top team, crazy to think now that Im one year away from being 30, and half of that time they were pretty dominant, and the other half, no playoffs at all
