With the New York Rangers adding a new head coach like Mike Sullivan, it’s not surprising at all that this team seems to be looking to compete once again for a Stanley Cup. And if they do have those kinds of aspirations, which I do believe they have, the players we talk about in today’s video will need to be better than last season.

Laffy had a disastrously bad last season, and that – 13 illustrates how many opponent goals came from him not checking/back checking. I posted any number of comments on that.
But that was last season – this preseason just started. I say give EVERY player a chance.
Don't forget Schneider played the season with an injury that required surgery in April.
Igor/Quick last season were constantly hurt by terrible play in front of them…new D now.
If Shesty was on any other team last year with even half decent defense he would've had a vezina year lmao the reason his season last year wasn't great was because he had an abysmal defense in front of him.
