Lost my butt in the seat. I will watch this last season of the CFL. This new commissioner & CFL owners clearly has no respect for this league & wants it to be turned into NFL North. Changes will be continually be made year after year to match the lesser league down south which has always put me to sleep when trying to watch it. Fun while it lasted but I won't stand by & watch the league go quickly go down the sink.
I'm thinking the rule changes can work without changing the feeling and uniqueness of the game. Time will tell, go Lions!

Change the name to NFL-N = National Football League North
Hate the goal posts moving. Part of what made the cfl unique and removes probably the most exciting play of missed fg returns. No need to shorten the field of play either. The rest of the rule changes are debatable and time will tell. If they think these changes make the game more palatable to people who don’t tune in they are dreaming. Marketing and uniting this league coast to coast remain major issues that hold the league back!

If WST was honest they would admit 4 downs and narrow field is coming soon
Why weren't the players and the coaches consulted? What about the CFL Players Association? I think they'd have something to say about these changes. My original response was to leave the CFl rules alone…..I'm ok with players benches being on opposing sidelines, Just leave the CFL rules alone
