It's great. They have an incredibly good chance to win the Calder. Imagine the Habs get to the 3rd round and Laval wins? Could happen.

Laval season has great promise …
Really enjoyed this one. Loved you did not left out guys like Trudeau & Davidson. We don't hear much about them but they're more than decent prospects on their own. A good number of teams in the league would absolutely love to have them already to help secure things out in cases of injury. Wish them the best this season, things with the Rocket should be every bit as interesting as with the Habs once again.
I'm keeping Arber Xhekaj because he would be a nightmare to play against. I can't imagine a worst scenario that him being traded to a team like Boston or another divisional rival. You want that guy on your side! In my opinion, you need players that get you to the playoffs and you need players that get you through the playoffs. For me, Xhekaj is the latter. I don't think we've seen the best of him yet. Defencemen typically take longer to develop compared to other positions.
In that last playoff series they switched to Fowler and it did not make any difference because their strength was defense but they took a LOT more chances because they lacked clutch scoring.Laval actually looked real bad that last series you could clearly see they were losing that.The goalies were non factors becuase they never are they go as the team goes in front of them and Fowler is no different.
Mailloux and Reinbacher were not AHL defensemn maybe not NHl ready but too good for the AHl and they made a difference.Primeau was better than Dobes and Fowler and as soon as he got out of the very poor MTL defensive zone system he piled up incredible numbers.
Primeau gone Mailloux gone RHP their best defensive forward gone I see a possible set back.
I was also not happy with what I saw from Tuch he looks heavier slower and no hands and really not much mobility.We laso seem to lose tha tlittle guy we got from Pitts a few years back he was imo our best overall offensive player."Barre Boulet".

Will he <grow> more this year to become a nhler?
I want to see Davidson get a 10 game trial with the big club so the fans can get a good look at him. He was very good in junior.
