NHL insider Kristy Flannery has ruled out Michael McLeod returning to the New Jersey Devils, but the Carolina Hurricanes are still a possible landing spot for him. Insider David Pagnotta also reported that McLeod is expected to sign with Carolina. There are concerns about McLeod’s character following his involvement in the Hockey Canada case, but teams like the Hurricanes are still showing interest. Other players involved in the case, like Alex Formenton, have already signed with other teams.
