  1. The power play in person felt more… energetic? Like as more players come back, it'll do better. But yeah. Certainly a preseason game of all time

  2. Blumel, Steeves, poitras, all -3. Lohrei the obligatory -1. Zadorov -2. How tall is arvidson? Is he like 5' 6". I saw him next to geekie and he looked like an elf. Anither year of trotting out Patrick Brown. OMG

  3. It's not that I want BRUINS to lose .I see what I see an have no expectations i know who's on team i know who's on other teams an yes im looking forward to a top 3 pick 26 we need to rebuild playoffs are only gonna hurt franchise an have us circling mediocrity for 10 more years

  4. I thought poitras looked quicker than last season and I also thought he was moving around more. Last year all too often he was standing still or slowly gliding in no man's land. He seemed more "involved" I guess is what I'm trying to say

  5. Not going to win many games with Jeffrey Viel as their best player . Good for him but I need to see some young guys start to show something . It’s early but not much to be positive about

  6. Welcome back hockey!!! Thank christ too, with what's been happening in the US I needed distraction from fearing for my safety, rights, and more. But onto the game!

To be honest I think the score is misleading. Outside of like the last 10 min of the 1st period it was genuinely a closer game than the scoreboard says. Whilst the Powerplay didn't score, and did have the some of the same issues coming from previous seasons, it did look better, which is a very low bar sure but it is a tiny bit better.

Players. Really not a fan of Soderstrom so far, Zadorov and Lohrei also disappointed me, but it's the first game back so I'll give them all a one time pass, but I need to see improvement. Dipietro really let me down, again, first preseason game and the pressure is really on him to not be sent down, so a one time pass. McAvoy was fine, wasn't expecting much from him his first preseason game, especially after recovering from injury. Oh and Zajicek surprised me, played well when he was needed to.

Literally forgot Lindholm was in this game he was so invisible, Geekie is still elite, glad to see he can produce and drive a line well without pasta. Arvidsson surprised me, I didn't hate his game and I do want to see more from him going forward. Jeannot was okay, was impactful when he had to be on the boards n such, hate the contract but his play was okay. Loved Potsy, I don't get the hate/worry around him. He creates so many chances, has definitely worked on the weaker aspects of his game, and something I wish more people brought up, he draws so many penalties thanks to his height, weight, and playstyle. Lysell and Minten really didn't do enough, definitely need to see more from them, especially Lysell, this is probably his last chance to make the roster or he might seriously be traded.

It's the first preseason game back after a really bad year, with a new coaching staff, so I wasn't expecting much. They did disappoint in the defensive end, especially in clearing (as usual), but the offense wasn't bad and the game overall was fun to watch. I'm interested what changes to the lines and plays they'll make. There is potential, but will they be able to seize it? Go B's? GOOOOOO OOOOO B'SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

  7. Glad to see Brown is still a dagger in your heart. This guy does everything right in Providence and will most certainly play some games here as well again. Even more so with all these prospects lying somewhere between busts and meh.
