Let’s be honest here Ovi didn’t ruin his career the French media and fans did. I’ve never seen a guy be one of leading scorers on the team but get shit on like he’s the reason the team is ass the last player I’ve seen get shit on this much was Scott Gomez and his was deserved. I hope drouin goes to a non hockey market and has a hell of a career hopefully it shows the French media and fans to lay off of hometown kids. Yes injury suck but he missed a entire year for mental health purposes.

What a sad story. He is a super talent and was already amazing in Tampa during his first year. Many fans in MTL were hard on Drouin and that wasn't fair. It would have gone totally another way if he hadn't gotten injured.
