  1. This team is funny to watch, it's learning, progression and growing, what a time to be with, greetings from Slafkovskya, sorry Slovakia 😉

  2. There's no such thing as a healthy Dach… he lacks the fundamentals to stay safe out there… luck has nothing to do with it.

  3. This is Exactly,.. What I was hoping to see out of A. Xhekaj, was to lose weight. He's shown to have great intentions, but his lack of speed was preventing him from keeping up with the play. it's the exact reason why he was constantly getting caught out of position, seeing opponents go around him etc… The legs simply couldn't go where his head wanted them too. Now the mental aspect of his game needs to adjust to what he can and cannot do. When to step up, and when to back off. etc… Details… His stick work overall, has also gotten a lot better. Imo, the Xhekaj brother's biggest asset, is each other. This from a professional standpoint.

  4. I like the guy but…… He doesn’t win puck battles even against non nhl guys, shot percentage against is higher, he has a hard time keeping the puck in the offensive zone, doesn’t go in the corners enough. What I will say is he has a good shot, and is able to rush. He didn’t stand out. Unless all you’re looking for is two hits.

  5. Just have to watch the video of Dach against Arber in the practice drill to see how much both have improved. Dach never took it easy on his knee he was doing a lot of cutbacks to shake of Arber and kept his balance with Arber all over him. Arber for his part was fast enough to keep up with Dach's cutbacks, twists and turns, kept himself between Dach and the net. Not sure Arber would have been fast enough to do that last season.

First line needs no introduction but Dach, Arber, Laine, Hutson, Demidov, Newhook, Bolduc and Dobson at the top of their game. Roy and Beck maybe at their best. Florian knocking on the door, others like Reinbacher ready to go next season. Going to be a fun.

Exciting times to be a Hab's fan as the rebuild moves ahead. Might be building the best Montreal team I have seen since the 70s.

  6. Slafkovsky is a good player when he is not lazy. I would trade him for a second line centre. Yup I would. Team would be set.

  7. You guys are doing great. The subs are going to come.
Cannot wait for the season to start and get the analysis provided.
    Thanks boys,
    Go Habs Go!

  8. Arber is the beast on this team. He just worked his butt off all summer to solidify that point. Arber is the Sherriff and will patrol our blueline for years to come

  9. The fact that every player is working hard to get better to earn his place on the line up, and that we now have raw talent, makes it feel like it motivates EVERY player to want to come to Montreal. They know how special this team is going to be, so they work their butts off because they genuinely want to be part of it. I think that’s what builds a strong and welcoming culture.

  10. You can bet that the brothers have been pushing each other all summer long! Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!

  11. He took three strides on day one and I was thinking, boom! He is fast but now the Sherrif is explosive and quick. Long and powerful strides that cover ground. Damn!

  12. In other news, Bryce Pickford scored twice and added an assist in first game as Medicine Hat Tigees’ captain. The kid made a seemingly ridiculous goal of 50 this year… gotta love the confidence. On pace for 136 lmao.
