Teammates like him. Has grit. Has good playmaking ability. Maybe we should ship him out. no spot for him. 4th worse record in league. What are we doing. lol
I was just a recreational goalie, but Fedotov just felt like he had structural problems with his form / game. Kolosov was a mess, but looked like he could do the job if he locks in and takes some direction. I'm good with the trade and very interested to see what the Kolosov situation turns into.
Unfortunately Fedotov just didn't show enough to keep a job.26 games isn't enough t to see what Ivan has but the Flyers have A Small luxury in the Goaler position atm so Ivan needed to basically outshine just somebody to Keep a spot.I'm a Goaler guy so I was hoping With all Ivan and the Flyers patiently went through since he was drafted personally it sucks it didn't work! Not saying he's going to be successful because he looked awkward at times but Columbus must think Ivan is worth a look because they took on his contract so Maybe he does become more than he showed?
Fedotov's contract was a mistake from the start but good piece of business from DB undoing that mistake.
Regarding Kolosov, if you look at what's happening in Russia, it doesn't surprise me that he came back.
For Ivan's sake hopefully he is able to stick in Columbus with all it took for him to get to the US. I'm wondering if this means that the Flyers will attempt to sign Carter Hart.
It was good to be able to watch both games, thank the people who streamed the rookie games.

Kolosov didn't really impress me with his play or his effort last season.

Fedotov going was a great deal. Get what you can for him. We know what we get with Fedotov. His cap hit was atrocious for his below par playing over two limited seasons. Columbus sitting on Jet Greaves too is interesting as hell that kid is going to be a bonafide backup in the league in the next few seasons. Just interested to see if he gets resigned by CBJ – if not Philly NEEDS to look at bringing him in.
The first rookie game was great. The power play, the puck movement. Bjarnasson is definitely NOT as ready in my opinion. 3 goals in back to back 1st periods wasn’t good enough. He shouldn’t have started the second game.
Bump is going to be one of the guys I think makes the 4th line this season. He looked like a NHL ready player already. Would love to see what he can do on the flyers this season. I’m ready to move him up. He proved it.
I am excited to see Bonk and Barkey in action. I’d love to see Costanzo get an actual start soon too. They definitely see something in the kid.
Jett has a back injury the flyers are keeping quiet we are cooked he won’t start the season

Fedotov always reminds me of Michael Leighton, didn’t track the puck very well and left holes when he went into the butterfly
