  1. USADA ruined him. I'll never forget the corner mic when Silva broke his leg – "fuck him", he said. Silva had done nothing to him to deserve that. I've massively enjoyed his downfall as a result. Fuck him.

Also, Silva didn't lose because of showboating. He lost because nobody had ever used the double jab against him. Weidman threw the double jab, and Silva ran out of space to slip the standard 1212 punching that MMA fighters did then. Chris came in with a 1221 and Silva had nowhere to slip to.

  2. I'll always have a soft spot for Weidman. His walk out to Tom Petty in his first Silva fight gave me goosebumps. Everyone thought he would lose so playing the song I Won't Back Down was awesome considering the outcome.

  3. chris was bumbling around after getting kneed by musasi or whatever his name is. He was trying to fish the dq win. But in doing so, he just proved that he was unable to continue the fight. had he stood up immediately and shown spirit. The fight would have continued, that is the result of his regrettable cowardness. And I say that with a heavy heart. And if he actually was hurt that doesnt change the result, since the officials were already treating him as if he couldnt fight. Same result.

  4. Chris was beating Silva in the first round heavily of both fights and people forget that. Chris had a easy time taking Silva down and landing hard shots. People just like Silva more, but Chris had his number.

  5. I don’t think these are freak accidents. It’s technique, plant the foot and brace in the right/wrong position. The force rebounds, and bones break. It's brutal physics, not bad luck.

  6. Disagree about the Mousasi fight. Mousasi got taken down but was gettung righ back up and was clearly beating Chris on the feet. Chris did zero with the takedowns. Also you didnt really emphasize that Weidman pulled an Aljo and tried to get Mousasi disqualified but it back fired.

  7. Chris breaking his leg like that truly makes me believe in "What goes around comes around". After Chris broke Andersons leg he was celebrating and it came full circle. Theres no way that is a coincidence

  8. What ever ..im 99,9% sure all unwanted champs faces a more popular guy and loses brutally bc Dana sees to that they get weights in their gloves.
    Look it up 😂
    Seriously tho 😮

  9. True story when I decided to go to his gym to train and try to fight he thought he was so cool and better than everyone. I was shocked thought he was way more humble but he’s a loser who just thought his shit didn’t stink and looked down on me

  10. I wonder if after all these years later, Weidman is still miffed about people not considering him the real/legit champion after the 2 Silva fights. I still dont.

  11. I used to feel bad for weidman and how he fell off/became a meme. Then he showed his character during and after the Bruno Silva fight. Now I love watching him get knocked out.

  12. Dude you are a bona fide casual. 1) Silva always taunts people. He always plays games. That's his style and it's how he was dominant for so long. Weak excuse. 2) Weidman checked his kick in the 2nd fight. Silva didn't get hurt randomly. Another weak excuse.

  13. Nobody cheered louder than I did when his leg snapped. He gloated so hard when it happened to Anderson Silva

  14. I’ll never forget how happy I was to see Anderson Silva get KO’d at this point in his career he got too cocky and needed to be humbled .

  15. Weidman had about the shortest prime ever in a champion, injuries destroyed his career, I think Luke, Yoel, and Gerard audited him, the Andersons fights did not tell
Us anything, the eye poke fight was horrible, he should’ve been desquilified
