Is Rielly right choice to replace Marner on Leafs PP?

Bryan Hayes, Jeff O’Neill and Jamie McLennan discuss if Morgan Rielly is the right player to replace Mitch Marner on the blue line of the Maple Leafs power play and what will happen with the log jam at the forward position.

  1. Rielly can be such a nightmare defensively at times but he can get some sneaky good shots off dropping in from the blueline.

  2. Might be a solid person, but hockey wise, he is the single biggest reason Leafs haven't sorted it out… not that he has had any true support from 2-6 but you absolutely cannot be putting this guy out there as your #1 D man. Think of how many teams he wouldn't even be #4 ALL of them are elite/contenders

  3. In response to the title of the OverDrive segment, I’m not convinced Morgan Rielly will do a good job of replacing Mitch Marner on either of the Leafs’ PP units.

  4. in reality when you have your first child,,, it changes how you think,,, its called life, and in any job, it can be positive or negative,,, I think MR RIELLY, went by that last year, not to speak on his behalf,,, lets just live in the moment, and enjoy the gifts these players give us,,,
