  1. It feels like when Mike Keenan took over. I've always loved Ricky Ticky. Here's a guy who would've been great in the military. Comes up with Zezel and Rick was an enforcer with decent speed and good between the blue lines. Then he re-invents himself and becomes a terrific scorer. Rick is like Aerosmith; they trudged through the 1970's and then re-invented themselves while enjoying their success. Get off the ledge Flyers fans. I'm 62 now and I have not felt this good for a long time. Jonesey, Danny and Ricky are going stick to the plan and we will see a gradual building of a monster organization. One day at a time.

  2. "We need to hold onto pucks"

Then you have to be strong physically. What do you think Tortorella was ragging on Couturier the first year he was coach for? Wasnt in shape. Nesbitt isnt in shape. Barkey not in shape. The reason Grebenkin is doing better is because he's in better shape than last year.

I bet the reason Tortorella was all over York was because of poor fitness.

Drysdale said last year he abandoned the off season strength program. And then he had his worst season ever and moron Charlie says Shaw was so good fir him

I dont believe tocchet has anything other than "its a country club" hot air up fans rear end

  3. Love Rick Tocchet. I watch his fights on you tube. Hopefully the team takes on the character of the coach.

  4. Rick Tocchet has a very tough job this season. Every Flyer needs to be better in all three zones to even get a sniff of making the playoffs. Possible, but everyone must step up every shift.

  5. Toch was a great team player and tough. He will expect players to give 100% effort as he said he should not have to tell the guys about motivation. Love about taking care of the puck especially the first pass coming out of your own zone as it was faulty last few years. Would love to see less passing on the PP looking for the perfect opening, just put the puck on net and rebounds are plenty. Fundamentals are the key, stay in position. Goaltenders need to stay between the pipes no straying trying to be the 3rd defenseman. Its 4×6 for gods sake! Skating out and cutting down the angle is BS you get beat with a simple forehand backhand move. Now if Flyers do all this we win the cup,,,,,lol, go Flyers
