Spellacy is a pro player not a jr player. His less than 1/2 pt per game proves this. If they dont enact the AHL 19 yr old rule should make the team if for only 9 games then back to jr. He'll have a better yr in the nhl then jr relative to situation
Kaiser's agent would be doing Wyatt a disservice if he misses 1 day of camp. If he misses 3+ days of camp he will not make roster

Using the cap going up as a reason to pay every player more is plain silly. Lets be real the large cap increase for the next 3 years is a market correction for covid. Anyone that believes that rate of increase or even close to it after the next 3 years is going to continue has not paid attention. Hockey is a niche sport. The nhl fanbase is getting older not younger.

Once drafted a players value falls until development steps are taking place.
He has been weaponizing futures by trading picks to get back into the first round.
Also trading players that out price themselves (unwilling to take team friendly deals) are the preferable players to trade a year prior to last elc year. If you have to many guys at a position that you see similarly then trade the one wanting every dime they can squeeze from team.
The point is do not trade early trade when value has increased (developed partially) that isnt a team oriented player (contract wise)

I think Kaiser is over-playing his hand, but I donāt understand all these fans in the livestream with the negative comments. Heās right to ask for extra value, and to bet on himself.
I canāt wait for the 2025-26 season opener I hope the Hawks could be good this year
