  1. Adam mentioned the Ducks & Sharks as options for Marchand.

He didn't have enough imagination to realize the Canucks would be more cursed and a better fit for him.

  2. The original Stanley Cup bowl that was gifted by Lord Stanley of Preston isn’t attached to either of the two Stanley Cup trophies.
That’s why he says they are both real, because they are both replicas of the original bowl which sits on its own (without the base part) in a vault at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

  3. Florida often walk the other team through a game, where the opposition is just one goal away from tying it up but it might as well be a 5 goal lead. That is unless you put a backup goalie up against Bob at the other end of the ice, in which case that goal differential will trend higher, but if you do have a solid goalie Bennett will take them out of the series. It's hard to say who stays and who goes somewhere else from the Panthers roster, but they're an exceptionally well managed organization. You're going to see not very well run organizations grossly overpay Panthers UFAs in the hopes that their Cup run will rub off on them, instead of focusing on being a better run organization.

  4. having harrison browne on to talk about LGBTQ+ people in sports honestly was such a refreshing thing to see. My respect for the 3 of you has grown quite a bit and its really moving to me as a person who is in the LGBTQ+ community to see people being vocal about their support in a sport that more commonly has people being vocal about their lack of support. Thanks again guys <3

  5. Hahah jesse saying skinner wasent the issue pickard was shows how little U no about hockey he lost once in the playoffs

  6. They were dangling through there D multiple times a game you could have any other goalie in the league in net and they still would have lost. The Oilers weren't even close. Their entire top 9 essentially had 20+ points you can't beat that depth. You would think you would see that by now as fans of a top heavy team that gets shut down year in year out. Depth wins championships.

  7. That April 11 game was also the reason the Hawks won the lottery and got Bedard, right? It locked them into second-to-last position I’m pretty sure

  8. You guys are sick. I tuned to listen to a hockey podcast not grown men promoting gym child abuse. In 10 years do really think you’ll be parroting the same thing? No, you’re just saying what you’ve been told.

  9. On that 3rd goal – I'm not saying Skinner shouldn't have had that, but look at the screen shot again. 5 Oilers on the center to left side of the D zone, all 5 looking at the shooter. On the right side 2 Panthers WIDE open with no attention at all. That is what killed Edmonton in this series. Critical missed assignments & being caught lollygagging in their own zone. Oh – and yes, I spent a lot of years as a goalie.. 😉

  10. time out, back up, I remeber how much pressure the stars had in Pittsburgh every year for soooo long if they didn't show up, and aorry but Crosby was treated like crap all game long too
but he found a way either himself, or by trying to lift his team up and leading them through
    there is a difference
this is why when talking about all around players, sorry Crosby will always be at the top of that mountain
not sayin I totally agree with that tweet, but he does bring up a decent point in certain ways

  11. Y’all are only partially correct. The Penguins losing allowed the Panthers to slide into a clinched playoff spot, but Florida had one game remaining and could have clinched with a win in that game (I believe versus Toronto). Who knows how differently they approach that game 82 in 2023 if they had not already clinched.

  12. Connor McDavid obviously can't play hockey by himself. Not only that, Gretzky and Lemieux played in a different era. If you want to make a BS tweet, Crosby and Ovechkin (since they've won) would be a more appropriate comparison. I used to think the complaints about NHL media in Canada were exaggerated; maybe they're not.

  13. Steve the panthers would NOT beat the 08 red wings to death, I think you're forgetting who played on that team. Kronwal would put Bennet through the ceiling of that arena. Lindstrom would pick apart any and all mistakes anyone made. Holmstrom, stuart, and drake would pound them. and good luck scoring on the pp with darren helm on the pk. those red wings beat crosby, malkin, and staal…they can and likely would beat the panthers.

  14. Dynasty used to be 4+ cup wins in a row. The 80s Oilers won 4 in 5 years (84, 85, lost 86, won 87, 88) and there were arguments at the time they didn’t deserve “dynasty” because they lost in 86 (then lost in 89, and won in 90 without Gretzky).

  15. Only Leafs fans are brain-dead enough to still think Stolarz was injured by Bennet's love tap and not the Mach jesus shot he saved with his face before that lol 😆

  16. "Connors' won a bunch of individual trophies, just not many team trophies." Huhhh, what? Is he secretly competing as a figure skater? In hockey only one trophy really counts. Individual honors are meaningless.. especially to the fan base.

  17. Good lord, stop talking about that Blackhawks vs Penguins game back in 2023. Even if the Penguins won that game the Panther still could've gotten the last playoff spot because they owned the tiebreaker. That game had no bearing on the playoffs.

  18. Crosby is going to join fellow maritimer McKinnon and you’re going to see another Marchand with Crosby coming back to life . I love to see all three play on same line
