At least Long Island has a direction just not a bonafied stud. Barzel and Horvat great but they need a corner piece. Seems like Pullock and Pelech are expired but the moves they make make sense… just dosent also translate to success….

I hope this show goes under. Gregor is absolutely awful.
Delusional confidence from past 2 seasons as Oiler strength is idiotic .
The players in this finals had the ability , but to appease Conner for Bouchard and going back to Conner, Leon show is a death nail decision . The rolling 4 line dominant oilers we seen this year was as close to florida's level as the Oilers ever got to , or will ever get to now on forward .
I predict horrific team cohesion and many many losing streaks , from the changes , that the entire team loses the belief of the line up and control change to Conner show, will deflate every player , so much so Conner and Leon attempt to carry , but epically stalls entire roster with no motivation or clue how to get back to anywhere close to this season , That by trade deadline , Conner asks to be traded incentivised by offer sheet flurry by other teams as they see the writing on the wall, and defeat as a absolute certainty for the Oilers , causing Conner to bail, Nurse, Bouchard and more to ALL FLEE For THEIR VERY OWN CAREER SURVIVAL .
Beginning the Second Intentionally self inflicted sabotage unto the Next Decade of Darkness .
With a full rebuild the following year, ensuring everyone will remember the stupid shit this off season WAS THE CAUSE OF THE TEAM SHRINKING INTO IRRELEVANCE TILL 2028 AT LEAST .
And To ADD INSULT TO INJURY , OILERS WILL PLAY AGAINST THE PLAYERS LET GO AND WILL LOSE TO THEIR NEW TEAMS .
The closest this generation of Oilers ever had the chance to win the cup was this year, had the team stayed as was, would have been a force to reckon with , with a better chance for next playoff run, but since it was undone stupidly , was the last time Oilers will see the playoffs for many seasons to come.

It sucks being an Oilers fan. We are not winning a Cup thanks to mismanagement and poor cap use. Our best chance was in the 2024 Cup final. It’s game over and I won’t blame McDavid when he leaves.
One could argue that Carbery should have one last year… but he was certainly deserving based upon the last two years combined.
