I mean his secondary position is center. But the issue is he does shoot right. I dont know how many right shot players we can really have in our top 6. With him being willing to waive his NTC to come here, I might honestly do it depending on the cost. Even if he just plays right wing, I think you can get him Newhook and Demidov on a second line that will be very strong offensively, super talented and fast. I also do think Dach still has potential as a center. I do think it's a lot to ask for him to stay healthy but if he does, I could see 35+ points. I think the line of Newhook Dach and Laine was honestly just bad chemistry. I think a top 9 of:
Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky
Demidov-Newhook-Kyrou
Laine-Dach-Bolduc
Also I mean that is a YOUNG top 9. There is an average age of 23 there. Legit no one above 27 there. I think you might struggle at the faceoffs but ur fine with that. If things go bad with Dach then you can switch him with Evans or even get Beck. I also think Hage should be able to play NHL hockey next season in 2026-27. I think its overall worth it. Even if it doesn't work now. Getting a top 6 of

I'm more than ok with Dach being surrounded with this talent plus they can all take a face off or two . Demidov would probably be a 40% face off Guy if he played center ( 50% + is what you'd want ) … Kyrou would also be a 35-40% if Dach can be a 45% + Guy … Their gonna be ok 😂 for comparaison , Newhook was a 44% Guy
No, don’t force the issue here. What you have is an improvement over last year. We need to fill the position from within until the right deal is there. We don’t need another winger. I didn’t think we needed Dobson either given the talent in the minors. Heineman will be great this year too, just watch. So no to another winger. It’s time for Beck to graduate
