The New Jersey Devils will begin the Prospects Challenge tonight, September 11, 2025 in Buffalo.
They will play 3 games over the next 4 days.
The roster has many NHL hopefuls and I am excited to watch!
I am keeping an extra close eye on the following players:
Seamus Casey
Ethan Edwards
Shane Lachance
Lenni Hameenaho
Cam Squires
Jakub Malek
Will we see any of these guys suit up for the NJ Devils this season?!?

The reason we are ALL more excited for this than normal is because this offseason was so much more boring and so much worse than normal. All of us are just ready for hockey back tbh

Definitely most excited to see Lachance play for sure, and Malek I don’t know too much about so that’ll be neat to see him play. Fitz should just trade Daws if Malek will be our number 3, I honestly think he should’ve traded him over the summer but… who knows what he’s planning

Big hope for big Shane. Loved his play at BU and it will translate great over time for a bottom 6 center. His game should be evident at the big league level sooner than people tgibk

Remember seeing Cam Squires at the 3v3 prospect challenge a few years ago and him really sticking out to me. Hope he gets a shot to make an impact. Love the content as always Ace LGD!!!

I Will be watching the Prospect Challenge just to see what our future holds for this club, and i am sure you will be watching it as well. that being said, i think a few of these guys will surprise us during this Prospect Challenge also Ace will this be, live on Tv or do we need to go to the devils website.
Just saw the players from the 2018 world junior team are suspended till december. If the devils were smart they’d get mccloud back even though his public image is stained and he may be rusty. You cannot deny his abilities and he would be way cheaper than if we had extended him back in 2023
I'm sure they are trying out Rooney for fourth line duties, but good to see Lachance in the mix. Think Glendening should be considered for roster for FO percentage unless … McCleod?
