With the addition of Kreider and Poehling as well as some of our younger guys continuing to fill out, almost every player on our roster this season is coming in over 200 lbs. The only players under (still 190s) are Strome, Terry, Granlund, and Zellweger.

Every preview I see for the Ducks completely overlooks the hiring of Jay Woodcroft as assistant coach too. Rich Clune didn't know what he was doing and the PP showed it. Poehling is an upgrade over Lundestrom as a 4C. Adding Kreider and Granlund as proven goal-scorers and keeping Gauthier with Carlsson long term under a new system the Ducks will hit the 90s in points this season no problem.
I see it’s started. Guess I’ll wait for all 32 to be out.

Regarding the Ducks cap space. They will have to resign Gauthier, Carlsson, Lacombe, Mintyukov amd Zellweger – all of whom are on sub million at the moment. So a lot of that space will get eaten up next year. There in a very good place to retain a pretty good young core though.
Mrazek is Czech….Dostal is Czech….i think thats all you really need to know for why the ducks have Mrazek and why he'll likely be the back up over Husso (unless Husso truly just out plays him no question)

I have a good feeling about this year.
Anaheim has been my second team since they entered the league. Just like Edmonton I won’t be watching a single game this year. You can bring Q in but Head Coach?! like bowman, GM of the best player in the world? They can make amends however the NHL sees it. The idea they are owed top stops in leadership again right off the bat is a failure in ownership of these organizations. Anaheim lost one of their few out of market viewers and life long fans

If things go right for the Ducks and JQ gets STRAIGHT TO WORK then they could definitely finish 3rd in the Pacific. I would even say 2nd because the Oilers may wanna copy the Panthers and coast a bit to the playoffs
Adam is hilarious. Mrazek was good in Chicago? Come on do a little research. Even a quick hockey db check shows a 3.46 GAA and if that doesn’t do it for ya .890 as a save percentage. That’s a good 10-15 points below league average. Not good.
Ducks are too young. They have some likeable pieces but if this team isn’t in the McKenna sweepstakes call me shocked.

The Ducks, Mammoth, and Canadiens seem like prime sophomore slump candidates. Extremely hyped right now based on a single season. Maybe they're the real deal and we're at the dawn of a new era in the league, or maybe there will be mean regression. As a Kraken fan I know all about the latter.
