McDavid is going to wait until this season is finished. Oilers GM will have to convince Connor that management has learned from their past mistakes and can build a winning team. Oiler fans are going to have to wait it out. Fully expect the Oilers do not make the FInal 4 and will be lucky to get to the second round. Brown is buds with McDavid and could have signed again with Edmonton but he knowns this year will be a huge step back year for the team.
