The next coach after Sullivan is doomed. If you hang onto Sullivan for a while, then the guy after the next guy might have a chance.
You might be the first Pittsburgh guy I've seen recognize all the facts. Correct, most of your players have a negative trade value.
Someone high up needs to have an honest conversation with Sid. Tell him that they don't have the ability to deliver him a winning team Then tell him they'd love to have him there leading a bad, rebuilding team, or happy to send him to a desired destination for a fair price.
We have had the goalie problem for years and it was one of the biggest mistakes to give Jarry this contract. 🤬 Now it's too late and he's paying the price. Furthermore, it was completely negligent to rely on this overaged team. 😏
Great commentary! I hope people listen you break it down very nice. It is easy to say burn it down and it’s hard to actually do it.
From an emotional and net-front present standpoint they have never replaced Patric Hornqvist, I've been convinced for quite some time the day they traded him was the day any hope of doing much was gone.
You nailed it Dan, they just traded Eller. We just got way worse.
The goalies are the least of the worries now. This team is not a team. They are 20 skaters with the same uniform.
