If I’m a GM. Can’t get the image of Marner turning the puck over with some stupid blind backhand pass, then dogging it while his guy put the puck in the net. Also being the guy to scream at his team. I’m not allocating 10% or more of my cap for this guy.
Besides for this years playoffs, it would have had a lasting impact long term, the Rat in TO would have been a nice move, and a lot better than losing Mitch for nothing.
the nhl/ (bet man) did a good move on this one! they need to get rid of circ the cap by ltr. like the investigation with Kane not playing then BOOM. PLAYOFFbound!
The Leafs were the only team that took the Stanley Cup Champions 7 games. If the Leafs had won in OT in game 3, they would have defeated the Stanley Cup Champions in 6 games. The Leafs were within ONE goal of winning the cup.
