They needed a trade for a goalie huge goalie though he would be the 3rd goalie on this team
The money is irrelevant. He's a third string AHL goalie that can play NHL games if needed whenever someone gets injured of if Elvis has one of his crash outs.
He might be a reclamation project. Remember the last time Philly traded a Russian goalie to the Blue Jackets?
For a 6th this is a good gamble. Guy was very good in the khl. A stint of regular starts in the ahl might help him adjust to the North American game. Just sayin it wouldn’t be that hard to take Elvis job lol.
