Look, I get the “he’s not my Perry” talk out there. And yes it’s a bit weird to think this would ever happen. But if they are going to the extent of repping him at a Dodgers Game, all I can think of is what is going on in Corey’s mind to try and win the kings praise over. Well my friends all it will take is for someone to take a run at Kempe or Q, and he will be the next one on that ice to settle the score. That would actually make me cheer for him! I don’t think drew and kopi would ever be on the receiving end of a “cheap shot” at this stage in their careers but Q and Kempe have in the last few seasons. So if there is a script to be written by the hockey gods, that would be a good one in my opinion.

Kings have issues developing puck movers.
they are great with stay at home defenseman, but puck movers they have either traded away or mismanaged badly.
DD is a high brid, but is late in his career. regarding pure puck movers, the last one they developed properly would be Muzzin.
before Muzzin, you'd have to go back to Lubomir Vishnovsky back in 2007…who they immediately traded after he hit his stride.
Not fully confident they'll handle Clarke well after seeing LA trade Spence after scoring 28 points and was a +23, or trading away Durzi after playing him an entire season on a side he had never played before. Faber i understand, but…
so far this build has not produced 1 puck moving defenseman successfully.

Was Holland drunk during this interview? Haven’t started with Kempe’s contract? Not sure where Clarke is going. I’m worried he’s gonna deal Clarke off because he doesn’t want a “young defense men”. I think we’re in trouble.

Man the Kings just need to stop f**king around with Brandt Clarke….. All they need to do is play him. Don't overthink it. He's an uber-skilled young d-man who has the potential to be a top 10-20 offensive defenseman in the NHL. Play him 18-20 mins a night consistently and let him be creative and do his thing offensively and he will EASILY be a 50+ point d man. Kings now have Doughty, Anderson, Edmundson, Dumoulin, AND Ceci all to play defense. They need Clarke to provide offense from the blue line. So let him.
I really want to be wrong about this, but I don't think that Juice and Clarke will be Kings next season.

Everything I've heard from Holland so far is a complete nightmare. This guys is drinking and Driving man. He just sent Spenny packing because Clarkie was his guy, And now he's not sure? Sigh
