  1. It's like the opponent's defense is dictating to the Seahawks' offense when it should be the other way around. In other words, the Hawk's O is too predictable…

  2. Love Tory Horton, very hopeful for him. But he wasn’t targeted week 1 because he was clamped up. Not crazy that a late round rookie can’t beat press yet. Hopefully his speed can win out.

  3. another point to prove Derion Kendrick is going to play before Shaq Griffin is that the seahawks ended up cutting Griffin to keep Kendrick on the roster and moved Shaq Griffin to practice squad. I think us playing Kendrick this week is a strong possibility. Also, Kendrick has some really good tape against DK in the past so I would not be surprised since he matches up well. He is physical which we need against DK. Riq could shadow him and play great man coverage I'm just not sure he is physical enough to match up with DK, Riq might get pushed around by DK on the outside

  4. Thanks Brian and Jeff. Frustrating week! Have fun in Pittsburgh Brian. Make sure to enjoy your salad with fries on top. Go Hawks!

  5. Let Riq follow DK … should be a great battle and a great opportunity for Riq to redeem himself (somewhat)

  6. I’m not going to say either Charb or k9 deserves more carries over the other until the run blocking is better. Charb got half his yards on a drive Warner was out. Outside of that he didn’t look good either.

  7. Get the TEs involved in the passing game. Have a set of plays specifically for Arroyo to get him open in space up the seams and across the middle portion of the field (7-15 yards).
If you have a great mismatch weapon, utilize him.

  8. They should practice Woolen at The nickel? Who knows, with his length and speed he could be a real weapon. It may be a better fit for him. Just a thought.

  9. Jeff, sure hope you're right about Tory Horton getting some real opportunities this game. I want to watch him play! Tight ends getting some targets, too

  10. Thanks, Jeff (you were on FIRE today BTW), for trying to be a voice of reason for this team, despite the desire for so many fans to run for the hills. As Seattle fans we have amazing highs and terrible lows & sometimes we need to slow down and let things play out.

Before the season started so many looked at these first two games as a real challenge and were comfortable with the idea starting slow and then improving with this brand new offense.

Real talk: The PETE-TSD is real, for sure, but despite what our eyeballs tell us , we are not the same team we were a few years back, and we need to let this one find their identity. It’s ok to be nervous but I’m kind of frustrated listening to so many people ready to give up on the season after one week.

Mike needs a win for the city, the team, and most of all for himself. He has everything it takes to be a great head coach, but it seems like he needs to take a more holistic approach to managing this team, rather than being defensive-centric. His longevity may require taking accountability for both sides of the ball.

If this weekend looks terrible then I will probably be right there with all the grumpy-ass 12’s, but until then, i will remain as optimistic (or as optimistic as humanly possible) as I was pre-season. Coach Mike please prove the haters wrong!
    Coach

  11. I much rather see the run game come alive!! We have Sam freakin Darnold and JSN!!! We already know what they can do, I haven’t seen the run game be alive consistently since Chris Carson.

  12. I think if Kenny McIntosh doesn’t get hurt before the season then Walker definitely gets traded. I’m not sure about now though
