The New York Rangers headed into the last regular season with the intention of competing for the cup and at worst a playoff spot. It ended up being a complete disastrous season for the Blueshirts and the team decided to go into a bit of a retool. Now with the major moves finished it seems like the Rangers have made some serious upgrades and in today’s video we compare a potential opening night lineup for this season to the one that began last season.

That 3rd line will be a disaster! When interviewed at rookie camp yesterday Morrow stared that he can play either side. In fact, he noted that last year he played both sides roughly half time. Noah Naba was described as a standout at rookie camp & IMO this guy is a top prospect. Jess Rubinstein who has been rating Ranger prospects for years, thinks Laba is a better prospect than Perreault! Really looking forward to the rookie game against the Flyers tonight.

I'd take Jones over Soucy. It's really a toss up IMO
