Mathews success isnt his lines or teams success without marner. Bertuzzi had what? 2 goals in 20 games playing with mathews did domi have any? Team has won less than half their games without marner. Doesnt just matter how mathews does its his lines.

I am a Pens fan, and would love Crosby to retire here. He def. has nothing to prove, he is one of the best to ever play the game, hands down.
And I am so grateful for everything he has done and continues to do with the Penguins, and here in Pittsburgh.
So would be I happy if he choose to leave?… obviously not, but what I want is not what really matters. Crosby should be able to do what he wants, and do it in peace, without people bugging the crap out of him. You know…respecting his wishes.
I wish Crosby nothing but the best, period.
And I will continue to watch him play no matter what jersey he wears.

I don't see a scenario where Crosby and McDavid unite somewhere. McDavid isn't signing in Pittsburgh or Montreal and Crosby isn't going to Edmonton. If Crosby is ever going to allow himself to get traded better do it this year while he has a bit of value. No one, including Montreal, is giving up anything for a 40 year old.
