Shea Weber maybe? Didn’t he basically not play anymore but was still on the books LTIR by Montreal until his contract was traded eventually. Ik not the same with the new cap rules but similar circumstance of player injured to never return to play
what is the cap for the playoffs
Petro's salary won't count against the cap for playoffs unless he plays(which I highly doubt). The rule states the on-ice roster must be cap compliant for every game. Players who are injured or healthy scratches do NOT count against the cap.
The lack of prospects 100% will catch up to Vegas sooner rather than later.
I thought the team on the ice during playoffs has to be cap compliant with the new rule and since Petro won't be on the ice we should be good? Am I wrong in thinking this?
