"midway season" which translates to 70 games. Please do your research.
Teams from Brasil could compete in any of the top 5 leagues. The football elite is composed by 6 – 10 teams depending on the season, everybody else is fair game. Nobody in France competes with PSG, Bayern won 11 of the last 12 seasons in Germany and City and Liverpool have been dominant with Arsenal just behind. Most teams in europe cant compete with these teams in leagu form and when you reach the champions league quarter finals usually these are the teams that are there, with some exceptions.
😮
The argument that Brazilian clubs are at a advantage due to being mid-season is flawed. I found no time frame in which Brazilian teams played fewer matches than Europeans.
European clubs don't really care about the competition?
Climate and being midway through the season should be excuses thrown right out the window
Reporting on the disgrace that is the CWC is quite dissappointing from you.
Brazil develop the best talents in the world. Many of them don’t get their move but are still good enough to spring a surprise on the European teams who believe they are above them. Don’t be surprised to see some of the players from these teams
receive interest or make moves this year or next year to Europe.
I think the Europeans just didn't take this seriously
hoping it translate to the brazilian national team with the same sucess…
If Brazilian clubs had the same money as certain European clubs, no one would stand in their way
a step below? god forbid Europeans suggest someone might be as good as them at something
The mid-season argument just shows how the “old” model with 2 games in december was unfair to south americans. Last year Botafogo played one day after a 20h+ plus flight, which they took after the last Brasileirão game
English analysis
Plus the fact that the national team has had a managerial shuffle.
How are brazilian clubs more used to America's weather?
Simple, they love the game, and they have talent… and money to retain it a little bit
Answer;: They are in the midle of their season and the other teams haveny started pre-season yet
CRUZEIRO beat all Brazilian clubs in the World Cup
