Calling anyone a bust before 25 when they haven’t played top six and aren’t given power play minutes is a joke. People who just don’t get the game of hockey. Most people have time in the minors to find their style and grow a bit before they’re trusted with NHL ice time. This kid was thrown to the wolves on the bottom six and was called a bust because he didn’t have a 50 goal first season. He’s growing well and gaining confidence. Just wait a few years and he’ll be a cornerstone of this team.
