Taylor Swift has not yet performed at a Super Bowl halftime show, though NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently stated it’s a “maybe” for the 2026 event, following years of rumors and declined offers. Past reasons for her absence include conflicts with her “Taylor’s Version” album re-recordings and a partnership with Diet Coke that clashed with the game’s sponsor, Pepsi. With her recent purchase of her master recordings and no current sponsorship conflicts, the possibility of a 2026 performance is higher than ever, especially given her relationship with Travis Kelce and the excitement from fans, who consider her a fan favorite

1992 "In Living Color" was the greatest halftime show of all time. It changed the way the NFL did their halftime show. As for what I would like to see as a halftime show, hire Gabriel Iglesias "Fluffy" to do a 15 minute set.
I'd love to see Taylor do the halftime show, but I think there is sort of a conflict of interest so long as Travis is still playing and contending to be in the Super Bowl (although I think the Bills and Ravens are more likely to be there) – if the NFL is up for that controversy, then go for it… but I'd prefer to see Metallica this year, playing "at home" basically and in the shadow of Ozzy Osbourne's passing a nice touch towards heavy metal. Dua Lipa would be my next choice. Also, my vote for best halftime show would be U2 back in 2002.
WHO WOULD BE A MORE LIKELY CANDIDATE THAN TAYLOR SWIFT RIGHT NOW?

Taylor Swift? Meh. I'm not in her demographic. I'll probably see what Tom Grossi has going on.
Someone else said Jelly Roll. I'd go with a collab of Jelly Roll, HARDY, and Brantley Gilbert. Make it a redneck Super Bowl party. The problem with Taylor Swift is that she'll only draw eyeballs for that 30 minutes that she's on, and those eyeballs won't stay before or after to watch the rest of the game unless the Chiefs are playing and fans are waiting to see the 5-6 glimpses of her in the press box cheering a Patrick Mahomes 15-yard run for a first down or something. So I'm not sure she works for the NFL for that reason; she'll draw peak attention, but it's not going to be sustained.
Best halftime show was the Aerosmith/Justin Timberlake/Britney Spears show back in the day, followed by the Snoop/Eminem/Dre show in LA.
Super Bowl halftime was a chance to refill cocktails and hit the head. Michael Jackson halftime show was insane though
I sure hope Taylor Swift is the half time show. NFL just jumping on her coattails. We want Metallica!
🎶 🏈
Uggh. I hate that SB 60 logo. The color scheme is atrocious

PS — it’s not as if NFL has a shortage of entertainers that would be excellent for the audience
Would love Taylor at Halftime. First choice would Green Day joined by the remaining members of the Grateful Dead. Taylor would be awesome but she needs to be at the first Nashville Super Bowel.
The most iconic halftime: Prince
I think we need a break from rappers. Pretty open to any other genre getting a chance.
Prince and MJ were the best imo.
I recommend the Texas A&M Aggie marching band. They put on a great show and it would be patriotic.
Linkin Park, Heavy Is The Crown. At the LuXurious Super Bowl. Let's go.
Its all bought and paid for. What a stupid industry relationship. Cant wait for it to fall apart.
If The Chiefs Are Gonna Be In The SuperBowl & Taylor Swift Performing At Halftime & Not Metallica,I’ll Be DONE With Football!
I mean. It’s pretty much inevitable at this point. It’s going to happen eventually.
I've heard Mylie Cyrus's name getting tossed around which would be good. Enough mass appeal, guest star appearances and cover possibilities with her to make it a lit show. Taylor would do it later after Travis has long retired.
I would love to see jazz vocalists such as, say, Samara Joy and Gregory Porter do a halftime show instead of Taylor.
UGH just UGH, is all I have to say. Chiefs get all the breaks because the NFL thinks they can get higher ratings and that is what it is about. The half time shows have been demonic just like the Olympics. Last really good one was MJ.
The weeknd deserves a second shot
Metallica would be cool an they could get Howard Stern and is small penis to play guitar
I still think it should be Post Malone and Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs
I want Metallica! Since they are in San Francisco, why not a “local” band? Plus, they’re on the shortlist of Super Bowl 60’s halftime performers…
L.A was great with the Rap team
Taylor would be good eventually but I’d prefer she wait for Travis to retire before doing her show. It’s season 3 of the Travis and Taylor romance and it’s getting old. It would be nice to have a SB without them.
If it’s in the Bay Area, let’s see Journey or someone local.
i know taylor swift is popular and would make a good choice to sing anywhere
Metallica Let's Go!!!
In recent memory, I'd say Lady Gaga was fantastic. Even my 90 year old mother loved it! All time performers though, hard to say. Michael Jackson was good, as was Prince, …… I'd like to see a list of past performances. May have to go look that up and update this later. This is just off the top of my head though.
Why should she? To be booed by all the Trumpnazzies?
The country is turning to fascism. Just like the Sydney Sweeney American Eagle ad, and Carl's Jr bringing back busty bombshells "eating" burgers, it 100% be a blonde haired blue eyed white woman, AND she's a billionaire? It's a slam dunk.
Taking away the Colin Kaepernick boycott controversy in the 2018 NFL season, choosing Maroon 5 as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LIII was a bad move. The state of Georgia has a rich and diverse music scene, whether it's rap, country, or rock, and the NFL chose one of the most stale, middle-of-the-road corporate pop acts of all time. Usher, who did Super Bowl LVIII, would've made a lot more sense.
