A cryptic post by the Penguins’ social media accounts and some posts from Allan Walsh has Pittsburgh wondering…what’s up with Marc-Andre Fleury? Hunter and Patrick begin the show discussing the pre-tournament lineup for the Penguins’ prospects at the UPMC Lemieux Complex on Thursday, what they want to see from these players, and how you can watch them this weekend. Then, the man who helped the Penguins become champions, Michel Therrien announced his retirement from coaching.     The Fleury post is definitely I think about a one day contract. I do think there is a a chance of his jersey being retired down the road but I agree with you Hunter, not before Sidney Crosby, Malkin, and Letang. Those three will have their jersey numbers retired first before Fleury would. I would like to see the one day contract, I think that would be pretty cool and yeah it should be with the Penguins, because that is where he had his most success and where he is remembered the most.

    I echo both of you guys comments about Michel Therrien. While he didn't win a Stanley Cup here, he definitely laid the foundation and taught a young team to play the right way. I like what you said Pat, Therrien gave them structure and basically told them you can' win with just your talent, but Dan Blysma is the one who kept that structure but allowed these young players to show their offensive skills when he took over, while still being responsible in your own end.

    I was a goalie and love flower as much as anyone. Doesn't mean his number should b retired. Every number u retire just cheapens the honor. Pens have most ridiculous wealth of generational players of anyone in NHL and we should have the highest standards. Lets not be like Montreal with 30 retired numbers bc we won a bunch when there was 4 teams. Or the watered down Halls of Fame in every sport. Jersey retirements r ultimate honor esp in Pittsburgh. Rings of honor were invented for players like Flower, Coffey, Murphy, Stevens, Francis and Straka.
