  1. in 1975 i paid for 1 ticket standing room in the red section at the old foroum 7.50 a ticket. i was working as a student week ends at steinberg groceriy Carrefout Laval it was called Steinberg Beaucoup . I could afford then to go and see the habs 10 -12 times a season.
Today forget it even in the high pits upstairs where you see ants on ice, i prefer tv watching iot home now. those big contracts are closing more and more fans from being able to go see the habs live.

  2. On the trade front… Dallas(Robertson) would be the ideal fit for the ducks.

No idea what we would offer.. they would probably want Dach, Anderson (helps them now instead of all futures) and a prospect like Beck

  3. When I played goalie I would rest my hands and chin on the stick like Dryden does. He has this aura about him that attracts you. Rest in peace and much love.

  4. Ducks are not budging on McT ….If an offer sheet comes their way Ducks are still in the drivers seat ….Too bad for the Habs !!

  5. Playing Hutson with Dobson will be tried more than once this season for sure. It may not be a regular pairing but they will get minutes together in most games at times.

  6. R.I.P. Ken 😢 I am starting to go through withdrawal I NEED HOCKEY! I absolutely want Hutson and Dobson on different lines. Balance is the key. If McTavish wants a bridge instead of long term to me that means he is all about the money (he is thinking higher percentage of the cap in a few years) he can get later rather than help the team with a long-term deal. Keep him outta our locker room. Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!
    Give-a-way!

  7. As a 12 yr old in '71, I had the pleasure of meeting most of the Habs and getting autographs from all my favourite players including Dryden at Dorval airport when they returned from beating the Bruins in the quarter finals. Dryden was by far the most intriguing as he became a diamond amongst superstars. Every kid playing nets would imitate his stance and posture. I 100% agree with you if he had a fuller career he would have been the very best of all time. Thanks Josh.

  8. It is such a great season to be a habs fan. I was born in 1977 and was lucky enough to watch in 1993 MTL win the cup. We are long over due and i can feel it. something special this season #drivefor25

  9. McTavish!? Plausible probability is growing every day. Wow. He’s restricted ? Like… how did he get such power at 22. ??

  10. 👋 need lane and dobson paired with a sound d man, love noah but very risky defensevly, keep that in mind guys

  11. Had the pleasure of meeting Mr Dryden during a pick up game great guy even did his famous pose in net for us

  12. RIP Dryden!

I hear talk of McDavid to the Leafs and just wondering what people think about the chances he refuses to resign in Edmonton and instead chooses Montreal!?

Oh ya and …. GIVEAWAY!! 🤞😬🤞

  13. People like Ken Dryden make me proud to be Canadian. A great athlete, an academic, a politician and an ardent supporter of improving player safety. One of a kind

  14. RIP old friend… thanks for the memories…. well wishes to the family what a legend

  15. I was 10 years old when i went to my first Habs game in 1976 . I celebrated so many Stanley cup parades ,. You're a very critic and i will let you know , that Ken Dryden was the greatest Goaltender of all time . Better then Patrick Roy < Better then Hacek or Martin Brodeur which i find are the top 3 Goalies in the history of Hockey . So let me tell you a little about this hero . He made games super natural with his saves . He made you jump off your seat and during the playoffs he was a wall that nothing can go through with the most soectacular saves , that he made look so easy . Back in those days they had half of the padding of today and half of the goalie stick . We woud be stuck to the tv to wait for Instant replay which had become brand new on the tv , to see how soectacular he saves were . Back in those days . unfortunately till the Great one and Lemieu came into the games players were paid very little for their talent . If you ever watched a Bobby Orr , Guy Lafleur , Ivan Cournoyer or Steve Shut do their thing with Peter Malholvitch ice capades you would says things like you are right now . Dryden was the best player in hockey for 6 years straight , like super natural . The media back then didnt talk about the scorers , they would spend 15 to 20 min of Drydens saves and this was every game he was spectacular . Anyone who loved and watched him live knows he was the bst goalie in history , no one came close to his performance day in day out . And when you needed him the most to do his magic 99% he blew you away . He was Montreal superstar , with Guy Lafleur . No one in the team had their standing and caliber They were the gretskies of their time and only Bobby Orr stood with them in the league . Bossy came , Gretzy came , Lemieux came and they held that title after no one else and you had a lot of great players but not in that caliber . Today Connor Mc David is with them all the others wont get the recognition like that . Because they are spctacular magical players . Ken Dryden was a habs hero and the greatest of all time for the people who lived it and its ok , you just don't know .

  16. McTavish for a 8 year at $8-9M? Not a chance. Reason: Knies at 6×7.75M. I knew as soon as I saw that his agent was from Newport (Don Meehan's agency), it was potential trouble.

  17. RIP, to the one of the greats to ever do it! (DRYDEN 🔵⚪️🔴) Thanks again for the awesome show. (Giveaway) 🤞🏾🔥

  18. RIP Ken Dryden. I saw you play in the late 70s as a kid and you beat Toronto. Thanks for all the great memories in the last Habs Cup dynasty!

  19. I hate the mctavish talk. Our second line would be horrible. Laine & mctavish are lazy players.. it would ruin demidov
