I don’t see how Montreal could make a trade happen without trading Reinbacher, I could be wrong but I don’t see them making that trade
I’d trade Reinbacher and more to get Mctavish! Reinbacher imo will be good but we have a much bigger hole in that 2C than we do on the right side. Yes it creates a hold but I think that hole is easier to fill than a 2C of Mctavish potential!

LOL Mctavish is likely seeking 8 mil a season which is why he isn't signed.I personally don't think any team has what Anaheim would want to make a deal.Anaheim would want a cheap high end player in return and MTL does NOT have that unless it is someone like Guhle I just don't see any other player prying McTavish out of Anaheim.If MTL truly wants him then it is likely a first pick a 2nd pick AND perhaps they would take Dach but idk if any team wants Dach he is going to be injured again we can bet on it.
Mind you, McTavish's agent works for Newport, which is run by Don Meehan (known superagent in the past). They are likely telling him to do a bridge deal so he can get more in a few years.
Wings are not going to give up as much as they are asking.
