Isn’t Zacha a old trade prospect from last month
A lot can change between now and U.S Thanksgiving. Other centre's ( Crosby maybe, wishfull thinking ) from other teams will also become available by then. Does Zacha's value go up or down ? Does Roy or Kapanen make the Hab's out of camp making them more valuable ? Does Xhejak make Struble redundent ? Does Dach stay healthy ? Everyone needs to relax and lets see what happens on the ice. This team can make some noise even without adding to what they have. There is no rush at this point.

NEVER wanna see Arber Xhekaj in a Bruins jersey! I would prefer those you mentioned: Struble, Roy, Kapanen. In an ideal world, the Habs could send Matheson to leave more cap space in November and by the trade deadline.

No deals with Boston, Toronto and Ottawa. They are rivalty teams…don't want to help them.
If Dach stays health and we pick up Zacha, the centre position would be one of strength. Suzuki, Dach, Zacha and Evans are a pretty strong lineup. With Hage and Beck in the pipeline, the Canadiens would be set for the next several years.

You have to think the Habs would like to acquire a 2nd line center without giving up Hage, Reinbacher or even next year's first. A Zacha-type acquisition makes the most sense to predict using guys like Dach, Newhook, Kapanen, Beck, Struble, Engstrom, etc who won't affect the roster and top prospect pool.
Also if you want a comparable of what the Bruins might be looking for see the Carlo and Coyle trades from last year.

WHY would Boston trade such a cheap contract that would make no sense.Sure you can inquire but then the Boston manager laughs and hangs up the phone.Yes I believe management DOES have a 2C plan becuase they immediately began working with Bolduc on his faceoffs and then they have Dach so it is imo those two guys.
It’s either kapanen or Engstrom and a pick if this trade happens
They would be in cap hell though if they manage to take him on. They'd have to include a signed player in wtv package they trade for him.
Zacha wasn't the answer for Bost who missed the playoffs WHY would he be the answer for Mtl who barely squeaked in?
