Red Bull is probably one of the hardest cars to drive, when the 2nd driver is showing better results on RB than they are when they come to Red Bull. The gap between Max and 2nd driver (Lawson, Tsunoda, …) is probably the biggest on the grid as far as performance goes. Everyone else is within reach of their higher performing team mate, Red Bull however is nowhere near that.

Mercedes had a 1-2 in the driver standings from 2014 till 2016 and 2019-2020. Vettel took 2nd in 2017-18. RedBull only scored a 1-2 in 2023 and it was close between Perez and Hamilton. In 2022 Perez lost out to LeClerc, not to mention 2024 where Max out performed the car compared to Norris and LeClerc. Max had it way tougher than Hamilton or Schumacher ever had.
