Love the videos my man! Would love to see a gear video and why you wear it!
Please do the gear video. We want specs, strapping, breaks, hollows… we are goalie nerds and want it alllllll
That is the level of Blocker Saves, working on making only knob saves.
Mr. Daccord you are gonna have a stellar season, and I can’t wait to watch it all👍👍👍
play button 🔜 👀
i want to see all your helmets
Picked you in fantasy 🐐 have a good year 🦑
Yes on the gear video.
Out of curiosity, have you ever tried old pads from the 80s or earlier?
If one were to make Buzzing Energy Jam, what flavor do you think it would be?
Thank you for all the food lately Joey! Speaking of food I would love to see what you eat in a day ❤️
These videos are great, Joey. Thank you for sharing. Let’s go Kraken!
I’d want to see all your goalie sticks
Always up for gear/ whats in the bag videos
Hey Joey you’re one of my goalies I like to watch. Question what inspired you to become a goalie in hockey?
NHL goalies don't get enough praise for their speed, you are FAST
What hollow on do you use on your skates? Gotta do a gear Vid!
Another awesome video
I will be watching this on repeat. I can't emphasize how fun it is to watch content that is this in-depth, showing great goaltending and conversations around the position. The blocker discussion was A++ stuff.
Love the content!
Love the mentality between you and the coach. Very understanding and communicative with every save.
And yes, a gear video breakdown would be great!!
-True L12.1 Pads with a PX5 graphic
-True PX5 590 Glove
-Bauer Ultrasonic Blocker (DigiPrint PX5 graphic)
-Vaughn Velocity NHL Spec Pants
-CCM Pro 2018 NHL Spec Chest
-Warrior R/V2 wrapped Sticks
-Bauer Profile Helmet
-True 1 Piece Skates
I’m also seeing Kova (or maybe Vaughn) suspenders, Bauer Elite jock, Bauer Pro+ Knee Pads and a chin sling in the mask.
what do you think about eelis shot?
What a bunch of great drills. Solid play Joey! 🔥🔥🔥
So exciting to get to see Joey practice! Thank you! And I couldn't agree more with Joey’s suggestion in the beginning about your routine before ice time. Equally as important for an older goalie like (over 40 yo) as for younger ones, to get their body feeling good and moving like it should. Makes the ice time so much more fun when you can just focus on the saves, not on any aches from movement.
Gear video would be 🔥🔥
How did you get your true skates to be all white?? Love the viss bte
Hopefully you watches the video back since they are good learning material, RVH blocker side drill – stop cheating as you know the puck is coming to your pad so you are sitting back on your heels as the drill starts this will leave you exposed to high in tight blocker shots here.
Watch also tracking of the puck to the blocker as you were not following the puck to the blocker or block side pad a few times so focus on following the puck to the blocker completely or the pad completely. This is why you had so many paddle(knob) saves. Which I am sure your dad was aware of since the next drill after was an eye tracking drill but only showed glove side.
Last point and great discussion between yourself and your dad about your blocker rolling over. This is a read situation about where the puck is coming from as you discussed if you unlock or unhinge your hips (also whatever you feel more comfortable with) but anything bellow the hash marks you should usually unhinge the hips to allow yourself the ability to collapse down on the puck if required rather then reaching and having to roll the blocker.
Great goaltender and love seeing the success!!
aaaaaaand subscribed!
Nice video! Great practice and great quality video. I really enjoy your videos 😄🥅🧱🦑
Gear video for sure!
