Host Matthew Zator welcomes Washington Capitals writer Christopher Babos to the show to preview the upcoming 2025-26 season.
They go through everything from burning questions/storylines surrounding the forwards, defense and goaltending to where the Capitals stack up in the Metro Division. They also highlight some potential breakout stars, players that need to bounce back from last season, prospects to watch, X factors, bold predictions, and more.

I honestly think Protas (Big Pro) is the X factor… I could realistically see him take a jump to a 70-80 point player. He was so good at 5v5 last year and almost all his production came at 5v5 or short handed. And he already went for 30 and 30 last year… if he gets to a 40 and 40 offensive level combined with his defense and sound 200ft game, look out!
