Kirill Kaprizov turned down how much!? #SDP #mnwild #nhl #hockey

  1. I think he wants a shorter term because he wants to win and he doesn't know if the wild can build a contending team around him and 8 years without a cup would waste his prime

  2. He might just wanna leave. Either wants to live in a different city or wants to go to a team he thinks has a better chance at winning the cup.

Turning down that kind of money/term is wild though

  3. Minnesota can get enough for him off a trade to have a great impact on the roster. Trading is a no brainer

  4. Don't blame him if he wants to leave, Minnesota is a small market and let's be real, Bill Guerin is a bit of a goof ball of a GM. The way he handled Rossi contract negotiations, do you think Kaprizov is sitting there thinking: wow, what a great GM Bill is, free agents are gonna flock all over to sign with the Wild.

  5. The reason he never signed an eight year deal to begin with with the Minnesota wild is because he’s never wanted to be there

  6. If the Wild end up having to trade him or lose him to free agency, we might wanna consider deleting the franchise at that point. No matter what superstar they get through the door, they just can't make any serious impact. For being a state of hockey, Minnesota sure is cursed when it comes to NHL franchises.

  7. Apparently he hasn’t entered any sort of contract talks yet and it wasn’t true. He didn’t reject that contract cause he wasn’t offered it.

  8. He would be making 2.2 million a month. That tells me He wants out of Minnesota and wants to go to a contender. They could offer him a 20M a year contract and I don't think he would take it.

  9. Listen I think he knows what this free agency class is coming up and he knows once the Connor McDavid deal comes he’s gonna also get a bag
