To even entertain to trade Lane Hutson or Demidov one for one for two years of Crosby at this stage of the rebuild in Montreal shows that, yes he could play the game, but he doesn't have the intellectual resources to process how to build a winning franchise.
I agree with Noodles. HuGo has shown they will not sacrifice the future for current needs/wants. If anything, it will be for prospects and picks. The Habs first line and Demidov and Bolduc are all untouchables. On D, Hutson, Ghule, Dobson, and Reinbacher are untouchables. I would not trade Hage, because he will be the future 2C. Sid might play another 2-3 years if that…. At some point, he will slow down.
