  1. I am wondering if the Mammoth take the same trajectory as the Kraken: overachieve in year 2 and then fall back to earth?

  2. Utah has a tremendous amount of talent. I see them as a team that needs to be watched. I don't want to be like the fans of other franchises, that expect a Stanley Cup at the end of the season. I temper my expectations and say They'll suprise some other teams throughout the NHL.😊

  3. I think they finish 4th or 5th. They have good forwards and really solid 'D'. I can see Logan Cooley hit the 35-goal mark (my player to watch).

  4. I’m curious how Iginla & Beaudoin do in camp; how close are they? Will the be pushing for a spot? Reading between the lines, But will be out there, maybe 3rd line with Crouse & McBain? That will be a HUGE 3rd line.,

  5. cooley hits 80 points, keller hits 95, guenther hits 40 goals, sergachev 65 points. That powerplay is gonna be top 3 or 4 this year guarantee

  6. I love your channel. You do a great job, but where is Tig Iginla on the top prospects? I want an updated video with him included. 😂 JK

  7. Biggest issue with Utah? Defense. That back line can’t stop anything and the goalies get hung out to dry. Somehow they have to figure out how to play punch you in the face, pick up the trash, physical defense.

  8. I think 3rd is possible. At least wildcard for sure. Who gets knocked out? Don't care, lol.

  9. Everytime I think of Utah I think of Guenther, and everytime I think Of Guenther I think motherf… he was supposed to be ours!!! Damn you Benning!!

lol seriously it's true….really wish we didn't make that trade to get OEL back then.

  10. “29 goals, 83 assists, shoot the puck” was a brilliantly executed line. You’re the man Hockey Guy!! Thank you for all of the previews

  11. I thought I was crazy thinking this team didn't have Tij Iginla in their prospect pool, but I think he could have just been missed or seen as a player who is still a ways away from pushing on the team. I'm excited to see what he can do on this team and looking forward to following the Mammoth! Thanks for the great breakdown!

  12. They need to fire Bear. He’s not it. Utah is a well talented team that needs a much better coach. Could you imagine this team coached by someone who knows what the heck they’re doing?

  13. I agree about Hayden! I am hoping Butt and Simachev have an impact this season and that Peterka can build on last years success. I am hoping Utah stacks up some early wins and can work downhill through the rest of the season.

  14. crossing fingers they make the playoffs. They look like they where going in the right direction at the end of last year. Hopefully they can figure it out. The West is loaded though. LAKs or Edmonton or Dallas or Minnesota or Winnipeg etc. Someone has to really fumble for them to make it in. Best case scenario McDavid does a sign and trade, and Edmonton misses the playoffs. But McDavid would need to go to the East for it to help, or go to an already established playoff team like Dallas or LAKs(would be rather funny). My most likely playoff misses, Winnipeg and LAKs. Dallas number 3. Colorado at 4. I think Minnesota is the weakest playoff team from last year, but kind of feel they didnt screw up their line up llike LAks did and Winnipeg dropping players without replacing them. Still all unlikely so back to finger crossing.

  15. I have concerns about the third line and D corps, but not alarming ones. It's tough to get over the hump. Schmidt to me is one to watch. Is he going to be a difference-maker?
