  1. You know the super was like "Wait Neal is coming back to play? Frank figure out how to put the pin on the cart path on number 8" LOL

  2. I have seen pins place similar only once. I wrote to the PGA as to the rules of pin placement. I remember them saying the pin placement should not be tricky.

  3. Neal Shipley has a new fan now! What an awesome guy to watch & listen to, great attitude and so down to earth. Thanks RGC for a fantastic video.

  4. 14:53 people love Neal Shipley because he’s 100% authentic and his true authentic self happens to be a very nice genuine person. He’s in the Shane lowery category of a guy you love to see win because he deserves good things in life.

  5. Interesting vid but it would have been even better had he played a course he had never seen before. Playing one he was somewhat familiar with doesn't really show what he would do on a totally random Muni. Also, the interview breaks between holes can go away imo. When I click on something like this I do it to watch the GOLF. Not listen to a bunch of gabbing.

  6. I went to go play here with my girlfriend the day he went, since i live 3 minutes from the course. They told me they tucked all the pins for him, and I played SO bad πŸ’€

  7. I think the majority of pro golfers are probably nice guys – but this guy isn't just nice, he's genuine. He's the kid that everyone who played junior golf had as part of the crew playing 36 holes during the school holidays, always up for a chipping or putting comp. What a good dude, truly wish him all the best.

  8. Played this course over 200 time as a teen and a member of the Mt. Lebanon Golf Team (Coach Ralph Fife). Good layout that has changed little since the 1960s. Remembering longtime pro Wally Grant (there's a statue of him at the course). Met Shipley at the 2023 Tour event in Lexington, Ky. Rooting for him on the Korn Ferry and hope to see him soon on the PGA Tour.

  9. Not started it yet but I’m calling it now – he will still bogey some holes, despite it being an β€œeasy” course. I’m predicting 3
