Nosek puck over glass – Tough Call Review
Tomas Nosek received a delay of game penalty for shooting the puck over the glass in overtime of Game 1 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final. The Edmonton Oilers scored the winning goal on the ensuing powerplay.

That's funny, because I think the rule is great in that it seems to be the only rule that the refs actually call correctly and consistently. We know they cannot be trusted with the discretion to apply an intent standard.
Here my question to you? Shouldnt that not be a delay since the oiler player hit the panther stick up, which should cause the puck to change direction?
The panthers have done this so much. I feel like they have the most delay of game penalties in the league.
Actually the rule is there for a reason Otherwise youd have defending players who are hemmed in flick it out for a face off….thats literally why the rule is there to prevent a delay of game which it did
