Unless you can get a really good return, I think it's dumb to move anyone before the season starts and you see what you actually have to work with. Clearly, we aren't going for a full rebuild, because otherwise you waste not only Pastrnak, but McAvoy, and Hampus Lindholm as well. If Lindholm comes back properly, he could count as a one of those key pieces you can build around. All that to say, if you're retooling and not fully rebuilding, then you need to hold onto those good depth pieces when you have them. At this point in time, the Bruins need top-end talent and trading Mittelstadt before he has a chance to really show what he can do doesn't get you that.
Love including fantasy content. Would have made both those trades in a heartbeat.
