Missed you gents!
Nice work on the Price move way ahead of everyone else and the breakdown of the CBA
Many out there couldn’t see any team taking on his cap hit.
I saw San Jose, Chicago and Pittsburgh on the floor end
Not sure if any teams near the ceiling were interested especially with the new CBA rules
He was the franchise player I never cared that he got paid like one, he just needed run support
Sad news on Dryden 😔
Price moving only a paper move but still emotional to look back at his time as Hab
…having 2 of the greatest goalies in hockey and in franchise history “leave” in the same day …
No one saw that coming.
* My apologies, the time delay between retentions on a contract is 75 days, and not the initial agreements of 60 days. So 75 IN-SEASON days must pass between the first retention for a contract to be retained on again. You can no longer do double retention trades***
Carey Price might be taking his first steps into goalie coaching. Yaroslav Askorov is the key to San Jose's long sought after Stanley Cup and with Carey Price on the roster, the NHL goalie fraternity could grow stronger in the video room. Thank you, Carey Price. Your legacy follows you to the bench. 🥅
Hopefully Habs will get positive results from Price trade 👍
I don't think the teams aren't making important trades because most teams think they can make the playoffs, but rather they want to hold on to their 1st pick in case they could end up with Gavin McKenna. Nobody wants to risk trading that pick and watching another team land him.
We lost one of the greatest Habs and you run on about a traded contract. I saw Dryden play and he was better the Price.
Man ,I was wondering what had happened to you guys😂
Price's trade helps both SJ and the Habs. Management is showing their ability to move things in the right direction.
If Price would have played on the teams Dryden and Roy played on he would easily have a hand full of rings as well . 3 great goalies
Welcome back !!
J. Plante is the best for me.
With the passing of Ken Dryden and the comparisons of who was a better goalie wearing the CH , the comment that was made near the end of this clip " the best center Price ever had in Montreal was Tomas Plekanac " says a lot of how good CP really was . Yes Dryden was great and he had to make some great saves against an equal adversary in Boston during those late 70s playoffs vs. the Bruins but what Dryden and Price had around them in their careers and looking at the individual stats , there could be an argument as to who was the cornerstone of the franchise. Both are/ were fantastic ambassadors to the game , similar demeanors , very poised and calm in even the toughest of times, Habs fans should be blessed and thankful of what they gave for their beloved team.
Good to see Shaun & Marco back 👍
R.I.P. # 29 ❤️🙏
Who cares if Price retires as a Hab. Time to move on.
Matty Berniers please. C'mon Kraken tank.
Price was an amazing talent but he had injuries and issues off the ice. He should have never got that contract. MB was incompetent and gambled on damaged goods.
It's good to have you both back. There was a hole in my afternoon schedule last week. It's also good to see that Marco's prescient run of hot takes still continues.
😊😊❤❤❤😊😊
