I think this jersey is OK I would love for the Kraken to make a full-on Kraken logo, but as you said, doesn't sound like it's going to happen unfortunately
The crest is super awesome and defined, and the GITD attribute is awesome as well. But besides that, not really a huge fan of it especially the stripes on the sleeves being so close to San Jose's third. I think they really could have gone more creative with it, feels undercooked.
I would buy this jersey when it’s discounted like used and cheap off eBay. “Mabey I’m a sucker for gimmicks” But so agree with your gradient ideal. I think that is perfect like your descending into the abyss. And I want a different logo. Some sort of Kraken some variant of a kraken. Anyway great video thank you👍👍
I dont think it blows my mind, but I think more than any other team, the glow in the dark makes the most sense than any other teams branding. I love the striping all except the red stripes are to big and noticable and throws off the menacing theming of this jersey. The quality of the jersey is lacking. Overall, I love this concept, and the gimmicky glow in the dark works appropriately with the Kraken branding, but I'd like the red stripes more subtle.
This might be the worst of the 3 jerseys that got released within the last week… YIKES

I would like it a lot more if they'd used the anchor as the jersey logo. This just feels so lazy and uninspired. The glow in the dark gimmick is just there to to hide how bland it is

SEA having a black and glow in the dark jersey makes the most sense out of any other team due to the ocean themes and “The Deep”. People need to get over a Kraken being the logo. It’s never going to happen. The whole branding is you only see parts of the Kraken, not all of it. Also I think comparing it to Vegas or San Jose is a bit of a stretch. The stripes on SJ don’t even look the same and aren’t wavy. And re: the red eye glowing, is it even possible to make red glow in the dark? I think the point is that in the light, the red stands out, while in the dark, the other parts stand out like bioluminescence in the ocean.

Rangers I hate but their third jersey is dope
It's not teal it's supposed to be boundless blue and they're missing the red eye that should be glowing they messed up on this one

the red isnt glowing in the picture because theyre shining a blue light on red no blue light can bounce off red
