McDavid could make $20.8 million a year with Chicago. Sharks, Penguins for 4 years and those teams could sign another free agent. Instantly making them a contender.

The Bruins have the 4th youngest team in the league. Their superstars are all in their primes… it makes zero sense to get rid of Zacha who's young and on a team friendly contract. Unless they're getting back a young rising star on the verge of breaking out.

Price going to the Sharks is a bit ironic because he was, or could have been
that missing piece around 10 years ago, back when the sharks were being predicted as Champions, before the season, or playoffs had even started.
Either way, getting him now, when their window is long been closed, is a tiny buy funny to me.

Dach is the most injury prone player going. Habs aren't getting anything near Rossi for him straight up. Habs would have to add a First Aid kit as a sweetener haha

It is an achievement just to make it to the NHL ,so, respect to Derek Ryan for what he did, making it at age 29. Wishing him the best in retirement. The Flames and Zary coming to terms is good for both, good that they got it done before the season. Will be interesting to see what kind of extension McDavid signs with the Oilers.

Just for understanding stake, MTL was over the cap by $6M before moving the Price contract, so they only have $4.5 million of cap space. HUGO won’t go right to the cap, to keep space for a move near the deadline. So any trade would require a roster player to go back and I can name you several roaster players that MTL would have no issues moving.

Hutson probably wasn’t invited because he is focusing on bulking and conditioning and that is nit something that is a focus for orientation camps
