  1. He’s seeing the puck really well, he’s out at the top of his crease and he’s playing with speed, control and power. He’s playing really well and the Blues needed someone who could pick them up and put them on his back and give them the confidence that Allen didn’t seem able to do. If you watch the games that Allen has been in since Binnington’s run started, the team doesn’t play as well in front of Allen as they do in front of Binnington. He gives them confidence because they know he’s going to make the saves he’s supposed to make and most of the ones that nobody should have to make.
