  1. Best Toronto maple leafs podcast Julie Best host i hope she goes to sports to replace ron macclean, Pierre to be next don cherry 🍒 on hockey night in Canada 🇨🇦 July 1th 2025,158th birthday party, USA 🇺🇸 249th birthday of America July 4th, 2025, 2026 Canada becomes 159 birthday happy early Canada 🇨🇦 day and USA 🇺🇸 happy early 250th birthday 2026, Julie 🇨🇦 Canadian and Pierre both 🇺🇸 and Canadian

  2. Try this on. Remember Cherry and Maclean. What about Steve Dangle and Mcguire on HNIC. Steve playing Cherry on steriods and Pierre trying to calm him down and bring a voice of reason. Every odd episode Mcguire swirts him in the face with a water bottle when his rants go off the range. Just my thoughts. And what is the big worry about losing Marner? I always thought Mitch was a moody, entitled, negative energy guy with not much upstairs. His interviews were so un-insightful and bland and passionless. Don't miss him at all just like he always went missing in key playoff games. His point totals in playoffs was great overall but when it counted he went figure skating with his patented fly by stick checks. No grind in him. I believe they are better off without him and his no doubt 14 mil cap hit for 8 more years. We would really get to hate him a couple of years from now. A drag on the organization. Silky smooth, highlight reel plays, but a downer when things get tough in the playoffs. Players who only rely on finese always disappear when the going gets nasty.

  3. Couldn't give two shits about the suck!!! Have fun in the desert!! We will get by and all your stats aren't worth shit now so enjoy!!

  4. The self sacrifices are what makes a team a team. Most of the quiet things are the ones that stand out the most. The grit grind and better depth 💪 may help move the needle at least this is our hope.

  5. Leafs could win this year. May need drastic trade or
Two. Sacrifice a goalie woll and a d Carlo and let thrun play. Above with Robertson danford and picks would bring in two more good heavy forwards or offensive d and one forward.

  6. I enjoy your show And I say this very respectfully ….you asked the question how do you eradicate the crazy behavior of the fans It's one word It's WIN!!! just win show up in game sevens

  7. miners simply can't handle the pressure He's going where he thinks the grass is greener but the grass isn't always greener on the other side ,,,,, there's pressure to win in all sports all teams Marner is a crybaby soft,,,,

  8. They debunked the Marner statement and found out that it was false and article already written about it. Just a PR move to try and make Marner look better!

  9. And since you decided to blame the fans and it doesn't matter what they say cause there paid well. Won't be watching any future episodes!

  10. TML players deserve their fair share of the blame for the playoffs failures, but the wonks upstairs deserve even more. They failed to build a team around a talented nucleus that was capable of great postseason success. That said, I still believe their bad relationship with the NHL powers that be didn't do the organ-i-zation any favors.

  11. Winning in Toronto, or Montreal, is different than winning in Vegas and Florida. And im tired of pretending it isn't.

  12. every analyst outside of toronto compare macelli to gino malgin , the more pierre talks the more i remember why he aint in the nhl anymore

  13. Easton isn't making the team this year. He get called up here and there at best. Needs pro experience first before he can be a regular. His numbers are not that good especially after the Team Canada debacle.

  14. I may be in the minority, but I believe Toronto is now deeper & will be more difficult to play against this season. Roy is the best 3C the Leafs have had in 6 years. The Leafs currently have 4 bona fide NHL players for whom there won't be a spot. That means about 10 guys competing for roughly 5 roster spots. Domi is an anomaly to me. Against Florida he produced a pathetic 6 hits & 1 blocks. 3 of those 6 hits came in game 7, which means he had only 3 hits in the first 6 games. Even Marner was more physical than Domi with 17 hits & 11 blocks vs Florida. Just not good enough imo.

  15. Last thought on playing under pressure. Nylander, who some fans believe 'performs' under pressure had zero points in the last 4 games of the Florida series. So say what you want, but it was not just Marner who wilted. Oddly, he & Matthews produced the game winning goal in game 6, a 2-0 backs-to-the-wall must win. Sadly game 7 was a face-plant from almost everyone.

  16. It's so gross hearing everyone go on about poor Mitch Marner while being completely silent to the BS him and his camp pulled behind the scenes and publicly with the media. Toxicity follows toxicity. Marner wasn't focused randomly for no reason.

  17. Real question has anyone seen these screenshots of these threats? It's the Internet in 2025. How come no one aside from Marner camp has seen these. I think it's a fair question. Be clear I'm not condoning the behavior of wing but fans. But if you're going to say things like this. You should back it up. I mean Willie takes the subway…

  18. Sorry to burst your cup bubble but leafs are falling out of top three in Atlantic. Bolts are out as well and Sens, Habs fill the gap!!
