  1. Neither Jarvis nor Stankhoven are moving to center! Rod has already said this!!!. KK has actually done well at 2C. No his stats are not great but the line stats tell a different story with him at 2C and with any other they have tried at 2C. Like it or not the second line is better with KK at 2C. However I would love to see the Hurricanes give Ryan Suzuki a real shot. Svech, Suzuki, Stanker would make a great second line. Suzuki was 1C, PP1C, points leader, and AHL ALL-STAR last year for the Chicago Wolves. Ryan Suzuki is a true play maker. Suzuki would find Svech and Stanker for great scoring opportunities.
    Line 1= Ehlers, Aho, Jarvis
    Line 2= Svech, Suzuki, Stanker
    Line 3= Hall, KK, Blake
    Line 4= Martinook, Staal, Robinson/Carrier
Yes Staal line as your 4th line. This line is a great checking shutdown line…..AKA 4th line!!!!!

This line up give you a true 3rd line. With Jankowski as 4C the Canes would once again have two 4th lines! Like they have for years with Drury as 4C. Line 1 Line 2 Line 4A and Line 4B.

Defence- Ghost sucked defensively in the playoffs. This year I believe the Canes week link on D is Ghost. Yes he will give you PP points but he will cost you on the defensive side.
I would like to see what Chatfield can do on the PP. Great skater, moves the puck great at the blue line, and has one heck of a wrist shot! The best shot to use from the point on the PP if you have net front! And that's a big if with the Canes playing that trash umbrella PP system.
The Canes are lop sided on defense. Someone will have to play on their off side.
They can not put Ghost with Miller or Boom (Nikishin)
You could play Ghost with Slavin, Chatfield, or keep him with Walker.

Slavin Ghost Slavin Miller Slavin Nikishin
Chatfield Miller Chatfield Ghost Chatfield Miller
Walker Nikishin Walker Nikishin Walker Ghost

Yes Chatfield on his off side. He played his off side with Burns when Slavin was injured a couples years ago and was very good.
Honestly Slavin Chatfield would be an amazing top pair. But can you trust Walker Miller and Ghost Nikishin?

Goaltending- The big question is how many games will Freddy miss this upcoming year?

Coaching- The PP system needs a new look. It needs more net front!
RBA- Please if KK is your guy all year at 2C please leave him there in the playoffs.. Every year Rod moves KK to 4C in the playoffs and moves the 4C up to 2C and the second line dies as a result!!!
Please STOP using wingers at center!!! Jost and Jaaska are NOT good options at center!!!!
GIVE RYAN FREAKING SUZUKI A REAL CHANCE!!!!!!!!
