    I really like this trade as it's not a GIVEAWAY. Gannon has played in the San Jose area previously so it has a nice symmetry to it. Price, what more can you say, the Habs traded him in a sweetheart deal to a beautiful city where he'll be able to build a post playing career.

    id be jumping for joy if montreal went out and got pavel zacha—-they need a 2 center now so they can carry the momentum from makeing the playoffs last year

    Withe the Price contract now off the books, it means the league knows the Habs are ready to deal and it's now up to the other teams to make decisions about their respective rosters. Dach will get his chance out of training camp, but depending on what happens between now and Christmas break health-wise (and🤞we have a healthy camp and year with no fluky injuries), I think we'll have our bonafide 2C before the end of the year. Oh and …Prospect “GIVEAWAY”!

    Carey’s trade isn’t really a bad thing. It’s good for Montreal’s earlier recovery. Give away ! I’m in NL. Donate them to a charity to sell tickets on. Carey looks like he came out of this well too… he’s always going to be a Hab!

    Carey Price was AMAZING to watch and I missed him already. I will hate Kreider forever… It is exciting looking forward though, and I think trading Hage for a center now would be reasonable if the center we got fits in to this rebuild (young, team player who wants to win, no drama) and is a true, guaranteed top 6 center. I think the only off-limit guy at Laval is Rheinbacher. But I also don't think we absolutely need to do it BEFORE the season. What if Dach works out with Demidov and someone on the wing? What if someone gets hurt?
